I found this guitar in the Virtual JEM gallery a while back and thought the color was really awesome looking, so I decided to paint one just like it. I custom mixed the paint myself and I don't think its humanly possible to get it any closer. Its kinda hard to photograph b/c it has so much kandy and pearl in it, but in real life it looks pretty much identical to the green on the Virtual JEM. This is a 4 stage paint job not counting the clear, so a 5 stage including the clear. Its a Silver Base, Trans-Metallic Green Base, Kandy Pearl Green, and then Kandy Gold last. It looks really deep too. I'm probably going to sell this body, but I got a few Alder JEM bodies coming from Christopher Woods and I'm going to do another one just like the picture, same green, and get some black and yellow Dimarzio's. I doubt I'll have a neck inlayed like that, but may do a vine and definitely a matching headstock.

I'd call that color Sour Apple.

I think I will! I have been trying to think of a good name for it. How about Kandy Sour Apple? Its definitely a sweet color.

whatever works I guess. but really all those bright, obnoxious colors are Kandys anyways, right?

Usually if thier real bright their a kandy yea. Even the neons are kandies essentially since their used over a white base.

I am REALLY liking that spalted maple body. If i had the cash sitting about id be on one of those like a shot.

Heres some pictures of our new chrome paint jobs. Just did this tonight.....haven't had a chance to clear it yet but when I do I'll mock it up and post some more pics. Probably going to put all chrome hardware, i.e tremelo, knobs, back plate, chrome dimarzios, tuners, and a chrome vine.
