The case of the re-appearing JS1200

I scan @bay on a daily basis and there's been a JS1200 CA that must have been listed 5 or 6 times now.

This is it...190211281143

Everytime it appears it looks to have sold at varying prices and yet according to the sellers feedback not a single guitar sold.

I guess that means there's just the one but I can't believe for one minute that every buyer has defaulted on payment so I wonder what the game is. Surely if he's not happy about the price then he should stick a reserve on.

Re: The case of the re-appearing JS1200

Woo hoo, it's back again #190212795122

....and this time it's a 2008.

I was sure I'd seen this sold before so is he just too friggin' lazy to re-photo the item and can genuinely drop £300 or more on the list or is there something amiss....190197402958 , 190188238021 ,190185640413

Checking his feedback, there've been several guitars with the same photos and descriptions that seem to have sold more than once.

Re: The case of the re-appearing JS1200

I mailed this guy to ask what the deal was and he said that all the JS1200's are brand new and sealed so he sees no reason to change the photos, which I guess is fair enough. Case dismissed.

Wonder what he's buying them for and from where when he can afford to offload a new brand spanking new JS1200 for £800 or so.

Hmmmmmmm, well he does have feedback from a couple of buyers who have bought one and are happy with it, but even buying from the US and shipping it over, I can't see how he could be making much profit if they sell at £800. Weird.
