I was worried about neck cracks around the locking nut. There were no pics of the rear of the guitar. Also the condition was described as "reasonable". I'd take a punt to a certain level, but I wasn't prepared to go £370+ without full details.

Exactly.

Up to a certain ammount your happy to take a gamble, but not when it gets that little bit too high. Unless it really is something mega-rare. And for all we know there could have been endless things wrong with the rear of the guitar.

Another will crop-up again at some point.

No, what I meant was I'd of paid much more than what it went for if I knew the full details and the guy didn't have bad feedback. I got in touch with the guy as soon as it was listed but he never got back to me, and that has become my No.1 rule when it comes to buying guitars on e-bay... no reply, no bid
