WHERE can I find poweramps?


Ive been looking all around...... ok ok only for about 5 minuits, but I cant find any guitar poweramps online. Can anyone help me out?

Peavey and Carvin might still make power amps. Check their websites. Mesa/Boogie still makes two power amps, check their website.

It looks like the Peavey Classic 50/50 may have been discontinued... it doesn't seem to be on their site any more.

If that's true, it's a real shame. The Classic 50/50 is a real bargain in an all-tube power amp. That said, it's an even better bargain on the second-hand market! I really like mine.

Rocktron makes one called 'Velocity' Boogie has 3 for guitar and more for high end audio apps, you can find the old ADA microtubes for a song, but if it craps out you're on your own. Carvin makes one they sell on their site, Mosvalve is another name that you can grab cheaply. If you're looking for all tube then start from the bottom up with Peavey, Marshall, Mesa, VHT. Those are solid good workhorses, of course the price goes up with each brand, but you get what you pay for.
