Either your guitar has a microphonic pickup (turn the guitar's volume to zero - if it stops, here's your problem) you have a broken/microphonic lead (unplug the guitar lead from the TA - if it stops, that's your problem) or you have a microphonic valve somewhere in either the TA or the 2:90 - tap all the valves with a pencil, and if one makes lots of noise when you rap on it, there's your problem - from memory, all of the tubes in the TA are 12AX7s - you could try swapping a few around - if you move the microphonic tube to a lower gain location, you may solve the issue this way. Good luck, you have the best pre-amp/power amp combination going!
