7 vwh case?

The case for JEM's is the UV1000C. *It's made in Canada for Ibanez. *Older cases have pink felt lining; newer ones (post 1996?) have a deep burgundy lining.

Click Here for a decent pic.

7 vwh case?

None of my Jems or my MCUV ever came with cases. I had to buy all of mine seperate. Did anyone else find that here in Australia. I think the music store may have jipped me.

They don't normally come in cases over here in Australia. You usually have to order them in with the guitar when you order the guitar.

That said, I have never ever seen a UV1000C case here in Australia. I've only seen the M100C
M100C in Australia.

What store do you buy from? I know Allans gets an M100C in with every Jem and Universe you buy.

Except for certain anniversary JEMs (10, DNA) the LIST price does NOT include a JEM. Therefore you can get a JEM/UV with the JEM/UV case, the "RG" case or no case depending on the way your dealer placed the orders... glen

I bought my Jems/UV at Better Music in Canberra. I have one M100C case but I bought that seperatly second hand in mint conditoin. I believe if you spend big bucks on a guitar then the case SHOULD be part of the price. Lets face it $3500aus is not pocket change. And yes that is peanuts compared to the price of the DNA and other guitars but it is still alot of money. I am sure the music shops are making a nice profit on them as is. But I think it should be a decision that comes from IBANEZ to sell the 2 together.

Just my 2 cents worth. (when converted into US dollars you looking at something like .8 of a cent).

OK, here is my question. *I live in Canada, all my UV cases look identical to the pic's I've seen but none of them say Ibanez on them. *They are all invoiced as a UV1000C from AXE MUSIC which is one of the biggest music stores in Canada. *Are the cases supposed to say Ibanez. *According to the Ibanez site if it doesn't say Ibanez it's not the real thing.

It appears that all the UV1000's distributed in Canada do not have the logo on it, but it is the same/correct case.

There are 4 versions I know of. The earliest have extremely light pink lining, the the 'normal' pink lining, there's a version with a sorta orange lining (the only one I've seen in person Glen has) and then the switch to the burgandy lining.

Sanchez, maybe you should post the case w/guitar question in the coments to Ibanez section. Just a thought.
