ABY boxes...recommendations?

OK...I've done a bit of research (not tons, mind you, but some), and I'm in the market for one (or more, if necessary) ABY boxes for my signal chain(s).
I'm leaning toward the Star Touch "Super Deluxe" (linky here: http://www.startouchpedals.com/Merch...Category_Code=)

Any of you have experience with Star Touch? They're certainly well-thought-of in certain circles. Anyway, what do you have, why should I buy it (or not), and why?

Discuss...

Re: ABY boxes...recommendations?

startouch boxes are awesome; tonally transparent, sharp-looking, and well built. i use an a/b from them and it has yet to fail me.

the radial engineering a/b/y is also great, and has a lot of options as far as grounding and phase and things like that go. it also has very little (if any) tonal coloration and costs a bit less.

loop-master also makes a great switcher (i have an a/b from them as well; it's MUCH smaller, which i like) and they are a little bit less "frilly" in terms of fit and finish but are also a great product at a lower price. check out http://www.loop-master.com/.

Thanks for the loop master linky. Actually, having just perused their entire catalog, I think I'm gonna order from them, as they clearly have a much more "customized" feel to them, and their variety/selection is actually pretty astounding. Yep...very good stuff.
Thanks!

Re: ABY boxes...recommendations?

OK...so I ended up going with Loop Master.
I ordered a whole bunch of stuff (various switches and boxes). As an unabashed (or maybe semi-abashed) guitar gearhead, that place is so up my alley it's not even funny. Maybe I'll post a review of the gear that I ordered once I receive it, just for anyone else's benefit. Thanks again for the suggestion, marky.
