ADA MP* Users...
What are you using live to change "channels"?
I bought a NOS ADA 4x4 but the input jack has come disconnected from the PCB. It needs repair, but I'm considering other options. Thanks.

You can get a good
midi pedal
cheap.
Dirt cheap is like a Rolls Midi Buddy, or ART X-15 Ultrafoot.
There are a ton of different options for you.
Rocktron, Rockman, Digitech,
Mesa Boogie
, all make MIDI controllers you can use.
Do a search for "MIDI Footswitch" on the bay...

I no longer use an ADA, but I did for several years. I went through several midi pedals, before settiling on the Rockman. IMO, it is by far the best. You can find them on the bay for about $100. Steel construction and large rectangular buttons make it durable and easy to use.

Re: ADA MP* Users...
I had an ADA MC-1 and it was more frustrating then anything. The buttons are hard to see on stage, my foot would always hit the wrong button and I'd get clean for a Mr. Crowley solo.
I finally said enough and bought a Rolls MIDI Buddy. Survived drops, beer spills and overall abuse and works great. Only downfall is no CC ability But I use an
Expression pedal
for that. Does the job for me.
If the 4x4 has the same buttons as the MC-1 I'd say avoid it.

Hahaha!
I think the buttons are the same. The ADA pedals just don't seem very tough, so I haven't been in a hurry to fix it.
Interesting. I like the expression pedal idea, though.

I use a Boss/Roland FC-200 to control the TriAxis/G-Major rig I use live - built like a tank, ugly as sin, does absolutely everything including stroll up to the bar and buy you drinks between sets.......
