Advice On New Effects

I've been playing a ME 50 multi effects unit through my Laney TT50 for quite sometime now, but I think its time for some new effects. All I really need is a good distortion and delay unit and a wah pedal.

Right now I'm thinking about getting the Line 6 Distortion Modeller and a Dunlop Zakk Wylde Crybaby, but can't decide on the delay unit.

any recommendations?

Since the ME-50 already has a distortion modeler, why not go for a single distortion pedal? You could try the Boss DS-1, or a Big Muff Pi, etc. You could also look into an overdrive pedal, like a Tubescreamer.

As for wah pedals, I love my GCB-95 Crybaby, although I recently added a Q control to it, which really increases its versatility. The Zakk Wylde has some nice features, but they don't justify the price IMHO.

As for delay, is the ME-50's built-in delay that bad?

If you're pitching the ME-50, the Boss DD3 is great delay pedal. For distortion, I'd look at the Keeley modded DS1. I have a Bad Horsie 2, but if I had it all to do over again, I think I'd try other wahs first. It's the only one I've played.
