Afraid to ask: Amplitube Vs. XT Pro
Hi there, thanks for spending some time reading this!
My question is simple:
I am an avid tube gear lover, Nothing can/will replace a tube (pre)amp.
However:
There are some things that make modeling worthwile.
-durability/reliability ( no blown tubes on stage )
-flexibility ( soundswitching, outputs, recording, tweakability, etc. )
-sound diversity ( actually having soooo many sounds )
So far I have not found ANY modeling unit to be adequate.
Untill today, I tried amplitube 2, and actually LIKED it ! ( shock and horror! )
The final question is: Is a POD XT PRO capable of the same things as amplitube 2. with the same quality/feel ?
