Re: Anybody else use the Jim Dunlop Jazz III?
I am absolutely mad for my RED Jazz III XL !!!
After a long search for a decent pick for a constant use, this is my choice!
I don't find regular jazz III convinient enough for me,because it's too small for my taste and I feel rather ankward using it...

I use Jazz III's. I don't understand why they even produce "normal" sized picks anymore.

Umm, does that mean the
Paul Gilbert
picks -that have just arrived- have been a bit of wasted cash...?

The PG picks are great. I don't know how they compare to Jazz III cause I still haven't tried them, but of all the picks I've tried the PG's are some of the better ones.

Re: Anybody else use the Jim Dunlop Jazz III?
I have to use these Everly Star picks. Everything else just slips out of my fingers. I guess my fingers are just to sweaty. I liked the jazz III's for the few seconds I tried one. Then it slipped out of my fingers and fell under a display.

Re: Anybody else use the Jim Dunlop Jazz III?
I have used Jazz I picks since 1988. Best feeling pick I have ever used. I too tried those Stylus picks as well, but not for too long.

after spending a couple hours last night this is my conclusion as well. I have to find some XL's. I LOVE the point on the III's, the attack and accuracy is the best I've ever heard, but they are just too small for me. And of course my local store doesnt have any so looks like I'll grab some from musicians friend or whoever has them the cheapest.

Re: Anybody else use the Jim Dunlop Jazz III?
1: How large compared to a regular pick is the extra large Jazz III?
2: What's the difference between the red and black ones apart from the colour?
I'm about to order some.
