Anyone got a picture of a W50RG case?

Hi all

I'd really like to get a UV1000c for my new RG1077xl, but unfortunately they are not available in the UK. So it like like the W50RG is the next best option (because of the guitar's 27" scale length).

Has anyone got a picture of the case WITH A GUITAR IN IT they could share with me? I cannot find any anywhere on the web. Unlike the UV1000c which is cut to the shape of the guitar's body, I think the W50RG is one large rectangular space. So I really want to see how well guitars fit in there and how snug they, before I order one online.

Would really appreciate any help.

Cheers

Max

They are very tight. When I got the case I was almost scared off "crushing" the guitar when closing the case. Trust me the guitar WILL NOT move.

Haven't tried a 27" guitar though, but I trust my UV and RG2027 to this case

Re: Anyone got a picture of a W50RG case?

Thanks for the advice.

So does the bottom of the guitar body, and the sides of the body, touch the bottom and side of the case? IE - so that it cannot move up and down, or left and right? Or is it more the pressure of the closed case lid which holds the guitar in place?

Do you think it is a good case?

Hope the questions make sense!

THANKS!

Re: Anyone got a picture of a W50RG case?

The body touches the sides off the case. I think there also is a little presure on the top off the body, locking it tight. And the neck is set tight when the case is closed.

Is it a good case? It certainly is an O.K. case. Sure a flightcase will be stronger. But I'm happy with them (I have two).
I think they look nicer than the molded ones, and have some extra headstock room.

Never seen a UV1000C though. Don't think they'll be much different.

Thanks. You have been really helpful.

If I could be a real PITA and bother you for one last thing.....can you tell me the total length of the case. The outside of the case that is, no the inside. No worries if it is too much hassle.

Thanks again
