Anyway to modify Boss pedals for true bypass?

I love my Boss pedals, but I hate that they're not true bypass. Is there any way to modify them to make them true bypass but still keep the other characteristics and circuitry of the pedal like it was before? If so, where and how much does it cost?

The easiest way is to build a little switch box that puts the pedal in and out of a loop. That said, Boss pedals are fine the way they are, the buffer circuit in them can be a good thing, especially if you have a string of pedals then a 20ft cable to your amp, the buffer helps keep the cable losses down.
