AT-112

Hoping to Pick up a B-52 AT-112 Combo on Monday. what do you guys think of that Amp? Im getting it for 499 on Sale so i think its a pretty great deal. i was a bit worried about QC But people have told me they have really cleaned up their act in the past year. Anybody ever have any problems with this amp? Any tips or Settings? what do you play on it?

So many questions

Re: AT-112

I love the tone of the b52 AT series. it was great for heavy rock tones (what I played on it.) I had the at 100w head almost 2 years ago, but I had to ditch it because I couldn't get a footswitch to work with it. I went through 3 of the factory b52 footswitches in less than 1 month, each one got stuck on a channel and wouldnt switch from it. If I had to do it all over again, I would have kept it and just had a custom footswitch built (I think I saw something like this on 3bay).

But I like it's tone so much that I would consider buying it again anyways...

^ Yeah i really loved the tone too. With a Les Paul Classic i almost Sounded like Megadeth when i played Symphony of Destruction haha.

I didnt get a chance to try out the foot switch because it wasnt plugged in, and i wasnt planning on getting the amp either. then i saw the price haha

That amp sounds great, vicious OD. Make sure it has the cooling fan built in, thats a sign of a newer model.

Re: AT-112

I Just picked it up today and WOW! its great haha. i love it.

I dont know how to check for a cooling fan because theres the cage thing on the back but im sure its brand new. Doesnt have any wear or tears, and the store (whos owner i know) said it was new so i dont think i have anything to worry about

one thing though...Its HEAVY! and not as in The music
