The Metal Core sounds very interesting indeed.

It will be interesting to see if it sounds much different from a Metal Zone. Because thats the one thing Boss have lacked over the last couple of years, a decent high-gain distortion metal pedal. And hopefully this will be it.

The 2 vintage amp pedals sound interesting...but wouldn't you get that from a Line 6 POD?

Hmm, the Metal Core comes with only 2band eq and misses the Mid-freq that made the MT2 interesting to scoop mids well. This looks more liek a revamped Heavy metal pedal.

The HM-2 is awesome. I have it, I love it. I'm selling it (hardly used and I need money) but no one is interested, so I'm good with it.

On the other hand, it doesn't have enough... zazz.. or so to speak.

Yeah the heavy metal pedal kicks a lot of ass dude. Kinda sucks when it gets loud but it kicks mother ****ing ass!!!
