AX2 vs Vetta- is it worth?

I use aLine6 AX2 Amp since 1996. Now i don't know wether i should get a Vetta. Is the difference so significant that spending 2000 bucks is a good investment or should i remain by my AX2 ? Hope there are some guys here having experience with both.

I have a vetta combo.

It's cool. Definitely better than the AX2, but also definitely not worth 2k. I got mind factory refurbed for 1k. I know some of the online stores have the vetta I for about 1100. If you don't mind the cosmetics, you can upgrade to the 2.0 software from Line 6's website.

If you can afford it, I'd sell the AX2 and spend the 500 or 600 to upgrade to the vetta. Line 6 has come a long way (but still have a ways to go). Of course, go to guitar center and try it out first. If you're happy with the AX2 then don't sell just to have the latest and greatest.
