BBE Sonic Stomp

Just wondering is anyone else has tried this pedal.

A buddy of mine told me about it, and it is an incredible product. It can turn your amp into a tone monster.

Re: BBE Sonic Stomp

Well, it wouldn't say it is a tone monster. I have one. I used to use it a lot, but after a while, it makes your amp sound really sterile. I'm actually rather ambivalent towards it. One day I like it, the next day I hate it.

Re: BBE Sonic Stomp

I found that it added some life to the amp, by bringing out the mids and some of the other aspects of the sound, that I couldnt get the controls on my Randall to do.

Re: BBE Sonic Stomp

I've had mine for about a year now and I don't play without it. The thing just kicks total ass IMO.

Re: BBE Sonic Stomp

Ive used a rack mount on and off with my PODXT Live and like waylay said, one day I like it and the next I dont. Sometimes its just what I need to get a realistic vibe out of POD and other times it takes away form the tone completely. I think it has more to do with adding to or taking away from the Idiosyncrasys in the way I am playing that particular day.

On a seperate note, one thing I would NEVER get caught playing without is my VHT Valvulator II.
