Best distortion ??

Hey dudes

Ive been using a Korg ax300g for almost 10 years now, (NOT the ax3000g!) and during that time, ive bought and sold on many different effects board , including a boss gt6 , gt8 , line 6 pod , behringer V-amp , korg ax1500g and korg ax3000g .

The distortion on the ax300g that im still using is KILLER , it really is the best distortion ive every heard , so responsive and searing. all my myspace tracks were made using it, except for "the inversion" www.myspace.com/almightyexcalibur

My question issss, can anyone recommend an FX unit that would give me those sounds?
You may think, if it aint broken , dont fix it, which ive learnt the hard way buyong so many other effects processors, but the problem is that the clean tones on my board arent great and it lacks a good acoustic simulator.

Any help would be great, and if anyone else is a ax300g user out there, let me know!

I've had a lot of great sounds out of the little Korg AX1G. I'm not sure if the AX300G and AX1G use the same sounds or not, but if they do, perhaps you could get a Boss GT-8 (again) and place an AX1G in the Boss's loop for your distortion sounds?

Zoom G9.2TT. I'm pretty sure it has an acoustic sim on it and the distortions on it are amazing compared to any multi-fx I've ever used. Even the factory presets sound good as when I turned off the cab sim on the Diezel preset, it sounded pretty much exactly like Kittie's All I've Ever Wanted. With a bit of tweaking, that thing will get any distorted sound you want. It's my replacement of the V-Amp 2 which has served me faithfully all these years.

*high five* HELL YEAH! I loved the V-Amp 2 but this thing has a lot better distortion with just so much more........... character! It really is a thing of beauty. I just picked one up for 290 (with shipping).
