Best pedal/half rack haromonizer?

Other than going for a full rack such as a G-Major, Lexicon, etc..., what is a good pedal or half space harmonizer? It only needs to do pitch shifting and harmony.

I've got a video of satriani rehearsing for the SBM tour, and he does some stuff on a BOSS PS-5 super shifter that sounds really really good.
They go for £150> i believe.

Boss had an old half rack multi effects called the SE70. It may have had the harmony in it. Otherwise they made a pedal that was okay. Now there's a VF1 that seems to be overkill but at least it would give you harmony.

I've heard that The Boss "Harmonist" is better than the "Super Shifter".

I use the Whammy 4 (Whammy 1 reissue) for harmony. It works for me.

Ditto for the Whammy 4! If you're looking for pitch shifting/harmonizing in a pedal, it's the way to go.

if you want the BEST get a Eventide Harmonizer. You get get some cool sounds like matt_cater said like Satriani. Use a Boss Octave and Super Shifter pedals together. Pretty cool, or just buy the Harmonist pedal.

If you're open to a 1U full rack unit, check out the out-of-production Digitech DHP-55 and it's close relative, the Studio 5000. Awesome 5-part harmonies that rival the Eventide.

I'll second the DHP-55. Here's a link to an earlier post with a rather long-winded review of the DHP and, at the bottom, some MP3 samples of what the box can do.

The audio links should work ... let me know if you have trouble with 'em.
