Best tube combo amp for 600-700$ USD

Hey guys I'm looking for a tube/valve amp. I play mostly all lead. Looking for a steve vai, paul gilbert, satch, jason becker kind of tone. Looking for Combo's not heads and cabinets. Let me know! I was looking at the 333xl bugera. How is that? Thanks! How does the bugera compare to the line 6 bogners? Also, I want to try to keep it brand new. I tried out B-52 's and valvekings, but I didn't like htem as much as bogners and bugeras. Tell me what you all think!

Avoid the Line 6 Bogners (unless you give it an extended trial and really like it). It's the same idea that Atomic amps did, except Line 6 caught on to it like 5 years after Atomic and in my opinion and in the opinion of all Atomic Reactor amp owners that I know who've tried it, Line 6 did it far worse.

Try to find a 2nd hand ENGL combo, I have the Thunder 50 Reverb and its pretty versatile as well as handling a becker/gilbert racer X type of tone with a overdrive pedal. Its a killer amp.

if looking for becker, gilbert tone, check out the Laney LC15
it's a pretty bitchin for such a small amp, tons of gain

Find a used JSX 212 Combo on the bay.

Yeh, I'd definately recommend a JSX combo. Alternatively the Engl Screamer is also a damn good amp (It's somewhere on my shopping list!)

The ENGL and Laney stuff is good. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Peavey stuff (including the JSX).

maybe bias because I have one, but have you considered the orange tiny terror and an OD? pretty versatile setup, and a tone monster.

If you want gilbert type tone in a combo, get a Laney VC50. Search for it on ****, there's one listed for BIN of 700.

I played a Traynor recently. about $700 1x12 all tube combo. Sounded VERY usable.
