Boogie Amp Switcher - Application?

I was wondering if anybody has experience with this unit. *If so, is it to use multiple amps with one speaker cab? *Or it is to switch amp inputs? *Both? *Any help is appreciated. *

I could be wrong but I think that It was just for switching between four different preamps in to one poweramp. But since I am not sure I will go and dig up a old mesa catolog and check. Be back soon to tell you for sure.

yeah the way it reads it would seem that you plug your guitar into it then plug four different preamps in to it and it will let you switch the preamp or preamp blends that are outputed. Then they say it should go to your effects rack or just a poweramp.

Wow, you actually have the old catalog! *You'd think they'd call it a 'preamp' switcher then. *Thanks for the info. *Anybody else actually use one?
