Book about solid-state guitar amplifiers

Hey guys, just wanted to share my recent discovery: http://www.ssguitar.com/index.php?topic=711.0

Incredible stuff. Printed all 400 pages and made through maybe the first 40 of them over the weekend - simply mind blowing wealth of information, often surprising and revealing - and very educative in many departments! Check it out - direct link to PDF.

The rest of the SSGuitar board looks very interesting, too!

For similar books on tube amps, go to http://londonpower.com. Thet'll cost you money, though.

And you'll pay a lot. The guy gives out the information by the teaspoon, so by the time you figure out how to build what you want, you'll be on your fifth or sixth book from his series. They do contain the nuggets of wisdom you won't find anywhere else - Kevin is a guru of amp design (notice that I didn't constrain him to just tube amp design - he's not shy of throwing in solid state where appropriate) and while his presentation is quite wordy, he gives you a lot of food for thought.
