Boss Gt-6

Hi guys,
I'm trying to immitate JS by playing "always with me always with you". I have heard some awesome immitations of it from people using the same pedal as i have, a Boss GT-6. Could someone please tell me what effect they are using to get such great tone.

Dude, it's extremely simple. Just turn your guitar's tone control all the way down, through distortion and delay. The tone's right there. It sounds similar to using a wah in a fixed position. It may not be exactly how Satch got the tone (sounds like he DID use a wah) but it sounds very close and you don't need a wah handy to do it.

Ok well i've been doing a bit of research, i downloaded a Boss GT-6 patch and i think it's the one i wanted. However, how do i get that patch which is named "whateva.SYX" to my GT-6 unit ?

Not to sound like a broken record here but googling "boss gt-6 patch software" will provide what you're looking for.

For my GT-3 I personally use Partheus software and midi cables into my blaster's faceplate.
