boss gx700, G-Major and VAI legacy top

hi there. i just got a g-major, a boss gx700 anf a roland fc-200 footswits that i like to set up with my legacy. Just dont know how.
i have tryed with the g-major in the effectloop and it worked ok. Then i tryed with the boss gx 700 and it just made a terrible noise. Someone who knows how i should connect it, without blow my ears away with the feedback

i dont kknow what the gx700 is, but the other stuff goes like this
guitar the input of legacy, fx loop send to mono input of g-maj, mono output of g-maj to fx loop return of legacy. for the roland fc, connect the 5 (or 7) pin midi cable from midi out of the roland to midi in of the g-major. depending on what kind of effect the gx700 is, it can go before the input of the legacy or in the effects loop before or after the g major

In my experience, running the noisegate on my G Major with my Legacy is akin to trying to put out a forest fire with your own 'personal' fire hose (in other words not very good); the G Major does absolutely nothing to dimish the Legacy's feedback. Does anyone know the proper way to set up the G Major's noisegate in conjunction with a high gain/high output head? The manual makes me feel as though I should have a PhD in quantum physics just to deceipher it.

GX700 is a preamp too right? Are you running one preamp (the Legacy's) into another (the GX700)? That would cause you trouble.

hi. i also figured that out. the problem was, that i could not put this effekt in my loop, inted i had to go direct into the boss with my guitar, and then from the output on the boss to the input on my legacy. Now i hooked up the boss with my protools (digi001), so i drive the guitar through this, and then into the digi ... then i have a bette sound, than i have when i go direct into the digi with the guitar, and i dont have to mic my legacy up everytime i want to record a little.
