boss ps-5 super shifter

HELP! boss super shifter???
i have a ps-5 boss super shifter, im sure several people have them they are awesome! anyway, i bought mine without a manual and i need to know a couple of things.

i know that when utilizing the t-arm or flutter mode the effect is only on when the pedal is depressed, when you switch over to one of the two modes the led light goes off."on both modes" then when you depress the pedal for the t-arm or flutter the light comes on when its all the way down"the pedal" on the t-arm the light "when depressed" comes on when the pedal is all the way down, and the light does the same with the flutter mode except for the light kind of fades off when released.


is this normal?

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but it sounds like normal operation to me.

When you release flutter mode the light will not go out directly as it does in T-Arm mode. It doesn't exactly fade out either but there's a short delay between releasing the switch and the light going out.
