boss super octave vs.dunlop octavio


just curious if there is a really big difference between the two pedals ,i am gettin the i need a new pedal itch ya know lol. would appreciate any and all ideas thanx.

Huge difference. The Boss is more like a pitch shifter (think Vai's "Blowfish" or Dramagods' "Megaton"), but the Dunlop is more like the effect on Hendrix's Purple Haze solo, much more subtle, and an octave higher.
