Good question. Ultimately, it comes down to personal tastes. In the past 5 years, I've owned about as many
wah pedals. I just got the Budda last week. I started with the standard Dunlop (all stock), then went to the Bad Horsie (too noisy with certain other effects at times, never was 100% satisfied with it), then went to a 535Q, though my search was over, then played the Budda. I find the wah is an effect that is not only subjective in sound, but also in the FEEL that is perceived by the player. The Budda's sweep is a little wider to me than the 535Q, and I like the amazing vocal quality I get from the Budda. The 535Q has some bells & whistles, but after I played with it for about 2 or 3 days straight, I found only one or two tones I would use all the time, thus the rest didn't seem to make much sense. The Budda, hopefully, will survive the test of time...
