I'm trying to find out the best way of building a complete gig-worthy rig in terms of output. So far, I'm armed with my POD XT Live and my Crybaby, which provides me with all the tone I want, but the question now is, what cab should I get and how I should power it between itself and the POD XT Live?
As far as sound-characteristics goes, I'd like something balanced concerning the cab. Warm cleans with a little pop and a lot of clarity, along with a punishing mid-range and bass when it comes to
distorted tones (this is important! If difference is marginally in favour of cleans or distorted tones, I'll favour the one excelling at distorted tones!)
Now, in between the cab and the POD we need to fit something to power the cab, and I have no idea what. Could you help me out? I'd like something with a good bang-for-the-buck ratio, preferrably with a maximum price of 500€ (or about 600USD), that has as little impact as possible on the signal. I just want to power the cab, since I know the POD XT Live gives me all the tone I want.
Tips are welcome!
