Cabinet upgrade

I play trough a Trace Elliot 2x12" 130w stereo combo amp, wich is very, very good for my needs. The output gives the opportunity to add a cabinet.
The question is: will adding a 4x12" cabinet make the overall tone better, I mean more low frequencies and better sound definition?
I need more "body" for my sound!

It will give you more "spread". Better is subjective

What kind of cabinet would you suggest?

Adding another 2x12 to match the combo will give a bit more spread to the sound without making much difference to the tone.

If you had a head, not a combo, a 2x12 will sound different to a 4x12. The 4x12 cabinet will be bigger and bassier with more thump than a 2x12.
