Can someone recommend a metronome.

I haven't really been interested in doing all out chops practice until recently, so I am need of a good metronome. *I don't really want a wooden analog type, and nothing too expensive. *Maybe someone could recommend a really nice one for a moderate price...used of course.

You can get the standard ones that are digital but play a constant tone at x BPM, i.e. they don't try to help you with time signatures for $10. *That's what I have now, but I was just looking the other day and Korg makes a pretty cool one that they sell at Music 123 for $30 that supports multiple time signatures.

Yeah, I guess I was looking for something that maybe does different time sigs and triplets. *I have played around with a Dr.Beat before but they are more than I want to pay for a metronome. * I was looking for an actual item too, not a computer program...I am not always at the computer when I play guitar. *Thanks.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a "quick time" metronome the other day... it works fine and was cheap to, but I wouldn't recommend it for the simple reason that it doesn't save your last setting. *EVerytime you turn it off it goes back to "100". * That's the only thing I don't like... but it is a very cheap one. *I know, I know nit picky!

That's the same one that I have. *Works great, batteries have lasted for MANY hours, probably 50 hours or so.

I think most of them default to a standard setting when you shut them off, my Dr. Beat, which is great but pricey, defaults to 120. *
