I got the combo about a week ago. Here is a quick review of a few points worth mentioning.
The size of the combo is incredibly small. It is about 2/3 the size of the Legacy combo (if that serves as a reference for you.)
The speakers are Carvin's "British" series. They aren't bad, but they aren't great. I am running an additional 4x12 off the combo, which really brings out the low end. They could have closed the back of the cab, but I think that would have lead to an extemely boomy bottom end.
Overall it sounds great. The clean channel is superior to the lead channel. That's not to say that the lead channel is bad, because it is not. It is Mesa-ish in that it has a loose bottom. When scooping the mids and cranking the gain, it gets a little thin sounding if you're only using the combo.
I am not an expert, so maybe my answers seem a little silly. But I do know what sounds good, and this amp does. IMHO, for the price (new or used) it is a great value.
