Carvin amp question

Hey folks,

anyone know which two power tubes are used when you throw the half power sitch on a carvin legacy. Ive attached a schematic below. I'm not brilliant at reading these but it looks like its the V8 and V9 tubes which are left active when you throw the half power switch.

Any help would as always be much appreciated

Steve

Re: Carvin amp question

I tried searching around online a bit more, then studied the diagram some more, then gave up and emailed the guy who originally designed the amp.

got this reply within two hours...

"The two inner tubes are always on, the outer tubes are the ones that are
either on or off if you have the 1/2 power engaged or full power."

So this means that V7 and V8 are always on.

Carvin rules!
