Re: Carvin V3 Combo

I think it looks pretty good. Not anywhere as sweet as the Legacy combo. If I were to get a V3, I'd probably get a head and a Legacy extension cab. The V3 cab has the 75 watters in it.

Re: Carvin V3 Combo

It looks hideous, which is strange as the head is actually rather attractive.

I've heard some QC issues with the V3, but I've also heard that when they work they're pretty sweet...

Re: Carvin V3 Combo

im with drew on this one... thats the most plain looking layout. the head looks cool (IMO) but that just shows no creativity at all.

Yea, you'll never get laid after a gig with an ugly amp.

Re: Carvin V3 Combo

Ugly yes it is. I also suffer from Ugly Amp Syndrome with my Crate VT200S which looks like a cadillac reject. However there is hope. Tolex from http://www.vibroworld.com/parts/tech11.html#fabric2 and grill cloth from http://www.vibroworld.com/parts/tech10.html Little pricy but it does cure the Ugly Amp Syndrome. So rejoice ye who own ugly amps. We are saved. Joshua
