Check out the new Boss GT-10

Have you guys seen it? I was at the supermarket last night buying formula for Alex and I saw the new GW and on the back I saw something about a Boss GT-10 and I was like "What!, I guess it was ineviatable".

Here's what the Boss site says:

Flagship Floorboard Multi-Effects
Features
Meet the new flagship of the BOSS multi-effects family. The GT-10, driven by BOSS’ latest custom-made DSP and proprietary sound-modeling COSM® engine, is a floorboard powerhouse that offers natural and musical response as well as a marked improvement in sound quality from previous generations. It’s also loaded with an innovative user interface, including EZ Tone, so guitarists can obtain the exact sound they desire in the most intuitive way imaginable.

Massive tone, advanced effects, and a more natural and musical response
EZ Tone wizard provides the ultimate easy-to-use, intuitive approach to sound creation based on graphic icons
Parallel effects chain offers two separate effects paths, including COSM® amp models
Create sound-on-sound loops with onboard Phrase Loop function
Large LCD and bright LED enable high visibility even in bright sunlight and difficult concert-stage lighting conditions
USB capability accommodates streaming audio and MIDI data in real time

Here are some pics:

Re: Check out the new Boss GT-10

It looks like it covers off some of the short coming on the GT8
- USB connectivity
- Easier menus
- Fewer buttons!!

I think having 2 control pedals adds a lot more flexibility in changing settings within a patch.

I think I'll stick with my GT8 though, I've got no cash

Re: Check out the new Boss GT-10

Oh yeah I have been reading about this unit since winter NAMM. I have the Boss GT-8, which I got the minute it went on sale. I'm not sure if I'll be upgrading to the 10 yet, only because I really like my GT-8 and the tones I have, but the GT-10 is defenatly a nice upgrade to the GT-10. Seems more easy to use then the GT-8, now has USB, a looper, a second ctrl pedal and a few more added feature, and some close to boss says it sounds even better than the gt-8 (but of course you expect them to say that). I can't say enough good things about my GT-8, anybody thinking of buying this gt-10 I would strongly advise to go ahead, boss GT units are great !

Apparently Boss also added the ability to use their software to edit patches on your pc, so that alone is a nice upgrade.

I have a GT8 and you can edit patches via MIDI connectors (USB-MIDI adaptator for a easy use)

but I surely will buy the GT10 with USB for a easier recording

Also, with the GT10,you can record a 40 sec LOOP
