Clean Up Your Act!

Did anyone else see this offer on the front page of Ibanez.com?

If you buy two Tone-Lok pedals, Ibanez sends you a FREE 3-space pedalboard case!
http://www.ibanez.com/coolnews/tonelokcase/coupon.html
(print that page and mail it in with your pedal receipt)

I got a chance to play thru one of the AW-7 pedals (autowah). It's great for playing live- you can put the distortion before *or after* the wah. Nice!
Oh, and I think I've figured out how/where to use the Lo-Fi pedal in a "rock" situation: Remember in the G3 video/DVD where Steve 'rides' the feedback and gets different tones by stepping to different monitors? You can do that with the Lo-Fi pedal, but you don't have to move; just click it on then off! :-)
And the TS-7...which is basically the TS-9 in a new housing.
There's also Delay, Fuzz, Chorus, Flanger....all the regular pedals, and some of the more avant-garde ones (namely the Smashbox and the PhatHead).

Sounds like a cool deal to me:
2 pedals + 1 pedalboard = about $150.
Not bad at all.
Wait- let me check the offers DOD and Boss have going. Oh, look at that- NOTHING.

BTW- if you look close at the pic, it says "Ibanez" on the case. Actually, it looks just like the M100C cases...only smaller. :-)

If you score one of these, please take pics. I'd like to know an approximate size (breifcase?). Thanks!

Yeah, I saw that flash up on their home page a few days ago....really cool little unit. Wish they made one a bit bigger.

I have a TS7 and DE7...I really like the latter. With 2600ms delay time and the "echo" setting that cuts the highs to mimic analog, it's a great value.

Simon- I'm sure if you *really* wanted one, a Forum member or two would hook you up. :-)

Greg- yeah, the 3-space is kinda small, but I like compact. :-) A 5-space, or even 7-space, would be the cats meow. Let's hope they come out with one like that someday.

Yeah, I saw that a long while ago (spotted it in a Guitar World mag first, hey, I have nothing to do in my school library BUT browse Guitar World At least I'm not paying for it!). Looks like a sweet deal, but I'm too cheap to go for it. lol They've got a couple tone-lok pedals at my local guitar shop, I should try checkin' them out, just for fun. I'm running a crappy multi-fx thingy right now, and want to get into some more pedals for more versatility. Some cool effects in the multi-fx thingy
