Re: Coloured electric strings in the uk?

Are these like the DR colored coated strings?

I've seen IA use some colored strings from southern America. Brazil or something. And AFAIK they were not coated, but rather anodized to get the color... Any thoughts or info about this?

I don't like coated strings. But I do like colors.

Is it true that the color wears off pretty quick?

looks like it might, where the strings kink to go into the pegs its worn off a tiny bit on some. I think they will last a few months tho.

they wear off about around the pick area because of alot of p.h's but this dioesnt affect the tone, and they still look that colour.
