Combo Amp Suggestions - Combo Amp Suggestions

Need suggestions for a combo guys. *I have a universe and am looking for a single or dual 12, 2 or 3 channels, enough gain so I don't need a dist pedal, effects loop and tone of course. *I have a peavey Ultra 212 and it feeds back at a low tone at higher volumes and I just can't take it anymore. *As well the clean channel lacks depth. *I need more spank from positions 2 and 4. *I think you all know what I'm looking for. *Gimme your suggestions and comments. *Thanks much.

Sorry to come off as rude... but you are best just digging through this topic for other similar threads. *Most people will say Mesa, Marshall or Line6. *Something along those lines. *Just trying to save you some waiting.

I'm not sure what you are looking for, for but you should try Laney's TubeFusion combos : Really cheap,1 clean channel, 2 Distortion channels (with plenty of distortion), EFX loop, Clean channel sounds nice, one ECC83 Preamp tube.

http://www.laney.co.uk/html/index.htm
Check out the TF300 (1 x12) and the TF320 (2 x12)

My local store has always a few of these, so I've become quite familiar with them...

How about the Laney LC30, or even the LC50? Way cool tone, raspy distortion channel, excellent clean channel with bucketloads of twang and also a good jazz machine with a compression unit.

BTW- It's a 2-channel 1x12 affair

The fx-loop is kinda crap tho [crap = parallel only with 50% maximum mix]

Why don't you check out a VHT Pittbull Classic?
A buddy's got one, and I like it.
Three channels, 100W to 2x12, EL34's, half power switch, PLENTY of gain, efx loop, graphic eq & more... The tone's great, and tight enough to deal with the low notes from your UV. Plus, the thing is really versatile. And it even looks wicked. The only negative thing about the Pittbull is that it weighs a ton.
Btw, it was a GP 60-100W combo shootout winner in the early 90s.
