Creed kinda sound


Anybody knows what it takes to get creed's distortion tone?

EQ Settings, pedals?

Creed? Oh, that's easy. Take a PRS singlecut, run it straight into a Mesa/Boogie triple rectifier. a few minimal tweaks, and you're there. All you need is about 6 grand to blow.

I was thinking Tremonti used Fender amps
Thats what I've seen him use on stage unless he changed recently

Yeah, most recently he's been using the Cyber Twin. But for the classic Tremonti sound, it's basically a Les Paul or PRS of any kind through a Mesa Dual or Triple Rectifier (can't remember which he said he was using). And on "Human Clay" his tone was greatly affected by his speaker setup. He had a 4x12, and a custom 1x15.

Depends what kind of pedals. Amp sim pedals might get ya closer than a fuzzbox, but if you got the right amp... check out

I saw an entire outline of his live rig in a guitar mag about 6 months ago. His sound is a combination of the following:
Mesa Triple Rectifiers though Mesa 4x12 cabs &amp; Fender Showman 2x15 cabs.
