Current model multieffects with PC power cords?
As the title says, I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any good multi effects that simply have a 'plug it into the wall' computer/keyboard/everything else style power cord. I'm tired of having to spend $50 or more every time one of these proprietary cable/wall wart power supplies dies on me. The cord for RP-2000 isn't even made anymore, so that's a toss away.
Also, not really looking for rack stuff, but floor stuff.

A product which uses a cheap, readily available power cord which can be interchanged with any other product????
That sounds like crazy talk to me, and I know crazy talk when I hear it....

Trouble is I doubt you'll find one, if you put the necessary transformer in the effects unit instead of outside, you'd have to significantly increase the care with which you design the PCBs and enclosure to avoid interference/hum...

Re: Current model multieffects with PC power cords?
My old RP-1 uses a regular old PC power cord, so it isn't impossible
G System is way too expensive and the GT Pro isn't a floor box. I appreciate the input though

The Nova seems pretty damn sweet, too bad I'm set on getting a Digitech GSP1101. Maybe I'll win the lotto and I'll buy every piece of gear haha

Yeap, the Nova has a PC power cord... sweet sounds too. The only thing it can't do is crazy OTT distortions

Re: Current model multieffects with PC power cords?
Yep, reading back, I don't work for them or even recommend them as I haven't got one, I was just trying to answer the question but may have sounded a but pushy.(?)
Having said that, now I've had a look, I quite fancy the Nova, much more realistic price.....
