Custom guitar cabs in the UK

Hey Folks,

time for me to get a new 2x12 speaker cabinet and it turns out that getting the right one is a pretty hard thing to do.

There are lots of great deals to be had out there for example this framus cab with vintage 30's.

Which is a aweseomly good deal. But I would like somehting a little lighter and easier to carry.

However its really difficult to find a cab loaded with neodymium speakers. In particular I'm looking for a 2x12 'Celestion g12 Century Vintage' cab.... and no body seems to make these.

So my question is does anyone know a good value custom cab builder who will build me a nice light weight cab with Celestion G12 Century Vintage speakers.

Steve, I can do that no probs but they wont be ready for a couple of months.
as you know the century is 3 kg per speaker lighter than the V30 for example so there is a weight saving there of 6 kg before you start on the cab design !

if you are in a rush, buy the framus, sell the V30's and install Centurys.
if you are not is a rush I can make you one with a very even and flat dB response with more lows.

well I got my calculator out and at a good guess my cabs will weigh 17 kilos.

17kg sounds great to me. Do you know how many months it will be before you start making them?

any prototypes to see?

im starting the first builds in the next 2 weeks.. V30's in the first one though..
after that it could be anything.
