*Custom* JEM

Hi,
I'm putting together a JEM with the help of a local luthier, roughly based on the VWH with the old style neck joint and a few other changes.
My question is, having not dealt with Ibanez before regarding parts, how easy is it to get hold of a Lo-Pro?
I know they don't suply necks unless it's a *replacement, so is this going to prove difficult?

Thanks
Steve

Ibanez does sell replacement parts. *You must buy them through an Ibanez dealer though. *

Prices will vary from dealer to dealer. *Expect to pay anywhere from $150-200 for a Cosmo Black trem.

People have mixed emotions regarding timely delivery, and order accuracy. *

As with anything in life, expect the worst hope for the best. *That way you won't be disappointed if you have to wait a while to get your parts.

Yeah, just go with an Ibanez *dealer and you should be alright. I've always gotten parts within 2 weeks, just depends on your dealer I guess. I spoken with dealers who didn't want to bother....

I thought Ibanez wouldn't sell parts?

Too bad you can't order a double edge to retrofit on another guitar.

Check with Rich at Ibanez Rules if you have not already...he probably has all you need in stock.

This was discussed somewhere else, but you can't get it. Wish we could, but you can't.

Err, sorry guys, this was originally posted 18 months ago

Never did get it done, worked out too expensive.
Been making my own stuff since then, also putting together my own designs recently, not just copies.

Have some stuff to show off soon.
