Custom POD XT patches

This is a quote from another thread...

"I don't have mine (POD) any more but if you PM me i will tell you a million tricks on creating your own patches.. "

So I figured any POD users could post custom patches or tricks here that work for you. I don't know how many POD users there are, but hopefully this thread will flourish.

Re: Custom POD XT patches

For me the only 'trick' I can offer it to get the Metal Shop model pack. The 5150 model is excellent, worth the money alone....

Re: Custom POD XT patches

Just got the XT about a month ago and I'm thinking of updating with the three model packs ( get the third free when you buy the other two ) has anyone got them and do they make that much diffrence to the Pod.
Like the sound of that 5150 Big Job...

Re: Custom POD XT patches

I can only comment on the Metal Shop Pack, but honestly man for my rig...

Pod Xt > Tube Power amp > Marshall 4x12

I haven't ever had it so good. I use two patches really. The 5150 one (MS Criminal) and a clean patch but I can't rember off hand what its based on...it may be a JCM 900 clean channel.

In addition to that, the only Marshall Head I have ever owned it a JCM 900 and the model sounds prity much the same!

Anyhow back to topic - can anyone suggest a way to get the whammy preset to work using a pedal?

Big Job

I suppose that comment would have a place in a "digital vs Tube" thread, but there is no debate in this thread, just supposed to be patches.
