Damage Control Pedals

Has anyone tried the Damage Control Womaniser or Demoniser pedals. They sound good on the website (don’t they always) but are hugely expensive (£300 here so about $500). Can’t find anyone close who stocks them, the specs are impressive and they look pretty versatile.

Any other recommendations welcome, I am getting a bit tired of my POD and would like something a little more “dynamic” I think is the best word. Anyone tried the Soldano GTO or the Mesa V-Twin.

Re: Damage Control Pedals

Forgot to mention I have a Soldano Astro-Verb so any pedals will have to work well with the front end of the amp. Most of my practice is done with headphones on as I have 2 young kids so it will spend a lot of time plugged into the front end of my Zoom digital 8 track

Re: Damage Control Pedals

I just went and listened to the Demoniser clips. Sounded really bad to me. To each his own. You said, pertaining to clips on websites "don't they always" sound good. Well, really, I find the opposite to be true. They almost always sound far worse on the internet than in person.
