d'darios or elixirs?

just wondering which brands u guys prefer, i tried both and i cant tell tonewise which one is better, the elixirs are very smooth to play but then when i tried playing with d'addarios on, i got used to that as well so i dont know....
my guitar store is having a massive sale on soon so i need to stock up

From what i remember of them both before i started buying EB slinkys in bulk, elixirs last longer but i might have them mixed up.

D'adds for electric.
Elixirs for acoustic.
