I was checking out one of the reissue Digitech Whammy pedals and was wondering who owns one and what they think about it compared to the original? Thx!

I own one. It works fine, but it is NOT like the original in tone and glitchless operation. It does the job for me though.

I've never had the pleasure of playing an original.. But it seems decent other than the shoddy treadle construction. I had to get it professionally repaired.

I have never played the origanel either but my new is awesome. The Harmonizer on it sounds great and the Whammy effects do as well. 1000 better than the ones one my Boss GT-3.

I haven't played the original either, but the reissue is 10x nicer to your signal than the whammy/wah pedal Digitech puts out.

The re-issue is mediocre at best. I have the original as well as the Whammy II. They sound better in my opinion.
