distortion pedal

It's finally happened... My Korg Hyper Distortion pedal has broke down. I really like the sound of the pedal but i don't think i will buy another one because of it's reliability. Anyone has a suggestion to a pedal that will give similar sound?

I feel your pain! I have one too and it is one finicky pedal. Recently, the "Low/Mid" knob will only work from 7 o'clock to 12 o'clock.

Just a suggestion for the Korg. I once before had it crap out on me really bad, and I took it completely apart. Took the circuit boards out, unplugged things, blew on it. Just gave it a general airing out. It was either that or bring it to a repair shop which I wasn't going to do. But it seemed to fix the problem. Worth a shot.

I have no idea what other pedal might sound like it though, sorry.

try having it repaired and replace a ton of parts so it's better quality/reliable.

I just got a Digitech Distortion Factory, and it models 7 great distortion pedals....I love it!
