Do I need a special cable for digital - New PC, going POD Pr

OK, got my new Dell up and running and will be downloading some free multi-track stuff to mess around with...probably n-track.

The PC shipped with Soundblaster Live which has a digital in and out, but it's a 1/8 mini plug. *I'm sure Radio shack has some type of adaptor to make things work out, but what do I need coming out of my digital out from my POD Pro...I am thinking a regular RCA connector will work...but I just want to make sure before I go to the store...

Nope it's a different plug!

You can get them at either RadioShack or Best Buy. *RadioShack is much cheaper. *It will say RCA SP/DIF on the package. *The ones from RadioShack are Orange in color. *I believe Best Buy only sells Monster SP/DIF cables so expect to pay 3 times as much at Best Buy.

Thanks Dave. *Appreciate the input...the Shack it is. *That place is a lifesaver, you'd think by now I'd have every adaptor known to man as much as I go in that joint, they seem to have even the most obscure stuff in stock.

Actually, you CAN use RCA cable for coax SPDIF. *But it's better to use a video cable than an audio one - video has similar bandwidth to digital, audio doesn't.
