ummmm.... the Carvin MTS only has 2 channels. The new V3 has 3 channels. The Peavey XXX and JSX have 3 channels.

Have you played any of these 3 amps yet, and do you know what their individual features are?
I say play them and choose yourself; judging by previous things you've said, I'm assuming you're jumping in the deep end by going for amps like these. Make sure you do actually know what you're buying.

Re: Down to 3 amps.
Well, are you planning to play gigs, do you need a lot of wattage? The Carvin is the most powerful of all, and with 2x12 speakers and a 50/100 watt switching it might be the most gig-friendly, If you are primarily planing to practic at home, 50-100 watt of tube power might be a bit much, and a lower wattage amp might be a way to go (it will still be loud), as you can always mic it up live if needed.
Of the 3, I would take the Laney. But I haven't played either, so it's not really very helpful, is it?

Re: Down to 3 amps.
i dunno if the one i tried was bad, cuase it was a VERY used one.. but the MTS to me sounded like garbage. There wasn't much gain or smoothness from it at all.. i think the tubes may have been going.. i haven't played the Laney. I'd probably choose the XXX over the others.. but i'd have to try all again

Well i would just play at school talent shows but thats it,I think i am gonna buy the laney because the store were i buy my stuff doesn't have Peaveys and the Carvin jsut seems to be a little too much (gotta try al thre though).
