Ear Plugs

So, I went to a Eric Johnson concert the other day and realized that I REALLY need a good set of ear plugs. I hate using those damn foam things, it turns everything into mud. What hi-quality ear plugs do you use? I'm looking for some that won't reduce the sound dramatically, but get rid of the ear ringing that usually occurs after a loud concert.

Haha yeah I'm with Andy on this. I come out from our band's jam room and my ears are ringing.

I like Etymotic's one. $300 for a good set.

Re: Ear Plugs

i use these and they work great...im also a drummer so these limit some sound out but not to the point where everything sounds muffled and cardboard like.

Yeah, it's not good when you get home after band rehearsal and get a slap off of the wife/girlfriend coz she thinks you are ignoring her, when in truth you ain't heard a word she's said!!!

I've used Sonic II hearing protectors and they are great and only about $20 I think.

Re: Ear Plugs

I have a pair of the Etymotic "Musician Earplugs" made by a company here in europe.

They even fit the ER6-headphones which makes it the best sounding headphones I ever used on a mp3-player.
