Effects pedal ac power?????

I have an old DOD Compressor Sustainer that runs on 9v batteries. Is there any way I convert the 9v into ac power so I don't have to buy batteries all the time? It say this on the bottom: For ac operation use a 10v DC negative ground power supply. What does this mean?

Your DOD compressor should have an input for a power supply if that is what it says on the bottom. At that point, you can simply go to radio shack and get a 10v power supply.

Do they look like a headphone input? Cause there is one of those next to the actual input. Other than that just a 9v thingy in the back.

It could look similar to a headphone input. Chances are if it isnt the input or output jack, it's the spot for the AC adapter.

Re: Effects pedal ac power?????

Found an ac that barely works in my one drawer. There's alot noise in my signal not sure if it's the pedal or the crappy cable I am using since I only have one good cable.
